Frequently asked questions
What happens if I add a property?
You stay on the same flat monthly price until you cross a level boundary. Going from 1 → 2 properties moves you from Solo ($149) to Portfolio ($199); 5 → 6 moves you to Host Pro ($299); 10 → 11 moves you into the demo-led levels, starting with Operator ($399). Crossing a level never reprices you mid-term, and your whole operation always runs on one flat monthly price — never per unit.
What counts as a connected system?
Any distinct external platform linked into STR Squad — Airbnb, Vrbo, your PMS, PriceLabs, Turno, smart locks, and so on. Each distinct platform counts as one (Airbnb + Vrbo = 2 systems); a PMS counts as one system regardless of what it syncs. STR Squad’s own built-in modules never count. Included counts are per account, not per property, and additional systems are $49/mo each.
Do you charge per channel?
No. Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com — every channel we support is included at every tier. No add-ons, no channel fees from us. (Airbnb itself charges a 15.5% host-only fee when you connect through a PMS, which applies to every PMS in this category — that’s an Airbnb policy, not an STR Squad fee.)
What if I cancel?
Cancel any time from your account settings. You keep access through the end of the current billing period. Your data is portable on the way out — CSV, JSON, and open API. No exit fee, no data-hostage policy.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Every level offers annual billing at 2 months free (Solo $1,490/yr up through Fleet $5,990/yr). Month-to-month is always available too. On Operator and above, annual prepay also waives the one-time setup fee.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — every self-serve level (Solo, Portfolio, Host Pro) starts with a 14-day free trial, no credit card required up front. Operator and above start with a guided demo so we can map your portfolio and channels before you commit.
I manage 10+ properties — how is pricing different?
It isn’t — that’s the point. You stay on the same one-flat-price track and move into the demo-led levels: Operator (11–25 units, $399/mo), Agency (26–50, $499/mo), and Fleet (51–100, $599/mo), each with more connected systems included and a white-glove setup engagement (setup fee waived on annual prepay). Past 100 units we build your quote. Multi-brand operators and PMS vendors have dedicated enterprise and white-label options — see the sections above.
